Hurry Up, We're Dreaming
•••
You've heard bits and pieces of this album a thousand times, but it's worth the time to let it play in its entirety. Alternately forlorn and gleeful, the soundscape tells stories of ambition, disappointment, love, loss, and hope, often building to soaring crescendos along the way. Electronic and ambient - and distinctly French electronica, influenced as it was by Daft Punk - it's worth a listen, or a revisit. Put it on, let it play, as a background soundtrack to your world or as the focal point for 73 minutes.
