Ways of Being: Animals, Plants, Machines: The Search for a Planetary Intelligence by James Bridle

Written by artist and technologist James Bridle, this book challenges how most of us define intelligence, which is very human-centric. It’s one of those books that made me see the world differently, whether it’s plants, computers, or even slime mold. I love that it bridges the perspectives of the arts vs. sciences so well (and the endorsements on the back of my copy are from Brian Eno and Jane Goodall).
