“kutzi” after someone coughs

kutzi is to cough as bless you is to sneeze. comes from my maternal great grandparents who spoke a myriad of eastern european languages, but i think this is just from classic yiddish tradition. they are pictured here with my grandfather (saba) who looks like an absolute dunce of a toddler.

not quite unhinged but people sure think i am when i yell kutzi at them!
