Hot water bottle: Add hot water to a Nalgene and put into your bed and kids bed 30 minutes prior. Make sure lid is secured. If not too hot after getting into bed, hold it to your chest for extra warmth and comfort

Prep and bake food at home: I love to cook, but I don’t like to pack, prep, and clean up when I’m camping. So I bake things ahead of time (muffins and cookies) and prep ingredients (veggies and herbs) to cook with. This way meals are quicker with less cleanup. I also find that prepped ingredients can pack easier too.
