Urara Japanese Cuisine: Okay so this is smack-dab in the center of Pike Place which I’m normally not the biggest fan of, but a.) it makes for fun walking, per your request! and b.) easily the most fun authentic little Japanese spot I’ve found in Seattle. Love love love.

Onibaba (Seattle): More in the CID than Pioneer Sq but totally walkable to Art Walk. Super tasty Izakaya-like menu. Excellent onigiri. Worth the wait.
