What was originally a brief yet alluring invocation becomes a portal to tranquility when expanded to ten glorious minutes. Put it on loop and let the layers of celestial vocals and washes of cosmic synths work their way into your brain and slow racing thoughts to a pleasant standstill, i.e., works great for whenever you next catch yourself saying out loud, I just need to chill the f*ck out right now..! I look forward to whatever Polachek releases next, but I certainly would not be a critic if her follow up to Desire takes more of this kind of a direction.
