Shepherdess Ankle Strap Sandal | Penelope Chilvers: Just got these in both brown and gold for my summer travels. Not totally flat, but totally comfortable with a cushioned footbed. In the Salt Water Sandal family (though not submersible) but a bit more refined. Cute with jeans, cropped ankle pants and my many shirt dresses, long and short. I’ve been having a lot of luck with Penelope Chilvers lately!

Ebano Store: This is where I got my Italian Fisherman Sandals..this store is really a leather and canvas bag store, but they also had sandals! :D

Italian Fisherman Sandal: There are many American versions of these, (Quince, Banana Republic) but they aren't quite right and the leather is hard. I bought this exact shoe in Florence and have happily worn it for over 5 years in LA. Super comfy and they get better with age. You can buy real Italian made ones on Etsy for under $200.
