I don’t get mad about anything anymore.

Admittedly I was like a full year late to this but you guys didn’t tell me it was funny. And heartfelt! The trailer made it look like a straightforward action movie, not a silly little Leonardo DiCaprio performance and Sean Penn saying “semen demon.” Also, is it controversial to say Chase Infiniti was robbed for an Oscar nom?

The trailers really did this one dirty. PTA does a mean Pynchon adaptation (I loved his take on INHERENT VICE as well), balancing some political cookery with genuine goofiness in a way that out-Pynchons Pynchon, somehow. I rooted for Leo! I *never* root for Leo!

I couldn't agree more! The scene where Leo finally gets through to the revolutionary hotline made me laugh so hard I had to rewind it. Good for him!
