Threeks

A major point of contention between @Paloma and me in childhood was whose turn it was to use the coveted “threek,” a perfectly-weighted three-tined fork of mysterious origin. Like many contested childhood objects, the threek “mysteriously disappeared” one day, may it rest in peace. But I’m an adult now, and can choose to populate my silverware drawer with as many threeks as i can afford (four).
