A chic, Gatsby-esque cult classic of Italian literature. There's something about the cover that makes it very good for clutching poolside.

The most beautiful story between a little girl, her grandmother, and their island. I wish I could read it again for the first time.

I would be remiss to NOT recommend an Emily Henry book for summer! Gus remains one of the best book boyfriends 💘

Just a really well executed noir / mystery set in the 1920s in an alternate history where there’s a large Native American nation around modern day Missouri. Probably the most fun I had reading a book in the last couple years.
