Stay in Kalsa

The historic old town of Palermo is pretty small so it’s hard to be too far from anything, so I really recommend staying in Kalsa, which is a ~10 min walk from the center but avoids all the craziness. The neighborhood itself is quieter and more residential, yet you have Palazzo Butera, Palazzo Abutellis, Palazzao Steri and lots of bars and restaurant options steps away. I stayed at one of the Butera28 apartments which were also very reasonably priced!
