something normal in your family that you found out is actually unhinged? thought my whole life that licking a q tip before using it was normal and found out only a few months ago that is, in fact, mildly psychotic behavior

I still do this because it's CRAZY how much gets left behind in a pump bottle. If the packaging is glass, I decant the remainder into a travel container
