Cookies and Kate, Minestrone Soup: A look at the ingredients might incorrectly tell you this is a pretty run-of-the-mill minestrone. But it’s not, it’s the best and when I make it for friends they often exclaim, EXCLAIM of it’s deliciousness.

One handed treats: Nothing better than something you can snack on while holding a baby, breastfeeding, etc! Have loved muffin deliveries, pals who have cut up and washed fruit so it’s easily accessible, and frozen pasta sauces/soups ready to reheat.

family recipe: 1) congrats! and 2) there’s nothing wrong with a gift card to a local place or doordash. (I have feelings about door dash but I’ll sacrifice them at the altar of helping frazzled parents of a newborn.) Really just thinking of this is thoughtful and anything you do will be appreciated. Which leads me to 3) cook them something you cook really well! Friends totally flexed and showed off what they could do when we had a meal train.
