A Song That’s Also A Balm

My kid learned this song, “Grownups Come Back” from a playlist at her first proper daycare. it was a place she grew to love, but the first weeks of dropoffs were tough for everyone. it became a touchstone. something we could sing together whenever she would think about going to daycare and get stressed out (a toddler with a case of The Mondays is truly too sad) and it really eased the worries and made the truth (grownups do come back! We were ABSOLUTELY COMING BACK) feel even more true.
