I went through a phase a few years ago of reading as much Deborah Levy as I could get my hands on. I can safely say this is my favourite of hers that I’ve read so far…

Usually I fall into the trap of nitpicking when I read anything about classical music but it’s so emotional and compelling that I totally forgot to be a pedant.
