Okay, so I definitely had SIBO for two years without knowing. I thought the world being on fire was just making me depressed, and My blood panels, vitamin ratios, hormones, and antidepressants were all at peak normal. After seeing my gastroenterologist and doing a breath test… I found out my body wasn’t processing sulphur. I swear a version of me would not have bought into the gut-brain connection… but a month after an RX regimen— I was no longer napping regularly… I woke up without needing to depend on caffeine. This is hyper specific, but I guess I am mentioning as it is increasingly common for folks that experiment with GLP-1s. SIBO is just one of many gut disorders that result in exhaustion.
