Three Letter Plague by Jonny Steinberg

I got this one at Clarke's Bookshop, a great bookstore in Cape Town, then devoured it during my trip. A heart-wrenching book about the cultural obstacles, misunderstandings and stigma that challenge the efforts to tackle South Africa's very high HIV rate.
