Order fabric samples and use them for a spectral quilt!

My very first quilt was a simple log cabin block with a color in the center. I got it in my head that it was going to be a rainbow quilt, so I only needed ONE square of each color. I had some linen bedding fabric color samples lying around, and then I ordered some more! If you want to make a quilt with varied colors, some free linen color samples from bedding and furniture companies will go a long way.
