Cookie Mueller

I was first introduced to Cookie Mueller after I read one of John Waters books earlier this year and he boasted about her. This lead me to then researching and finding that there was a book of her writing essays and articles published a few years back(Walking Through Clear Water in a Pool Painted Black). Cookie was truly an it girl and lived a crazy life with no limits to exploring the unknown. It is truly a great read- the risks and go with the flow lifestyle are inspiring. It makes me crave for a pre-phone world! Of-course Cookie is a pisces too. Her writings hit extra hard too once I found out she passed away from aids related pneumonia during the 80’s AIDS epidemic.
