Smitten Kitchen

Ellen

“Every time I want to make a new recipe I usually google “(whatever it is) smitten kitchen” to see if Deb has a version, bc if she does, I know it’s great. My most trusted and true OG cooking blog turned website turned low key empire but she just keeps churning out killer recipes that are doable and delicious. All hail Deb!”

“deb perelman is functionally my third roommate — she reminds me to weigh my dry ingredients, has a recipe for every combination of items in my fridge and pantry, and tells me it’s ok when i burn the brown butter the first time”

“All of her cookbooks are worth owning (I am partial to the second one) but since she gives so much for free online, I suggest making a few recipes, see what you like, look at the recipe indexes for each book, THEN invest :)”
