Picnic at the Bowl!
Highly recommend getting to the bowl ahead of your event and taking in the scenery. There are designated picnic areas, or you can eat in your seats before the show (that’s what we like to do). In the past, we’ve brought everything from home, but now, we bring cheese and crackers, wine, and dessert, and pick up something more substantial at the Bowl using their mobile order app. (The Spanish fried chicken is delicious) Don’t forget a wine key!

“Okay, this isn’t a hidden gem. BUT, there truly is no better LA tradition than getting together with a group of friends and picnicking at the Bowl before seeing an amazing concert as the sun sets. Parking tip: Park and Ride all the way!! Photo is from this summer’s Wes Anderson concert series :)”

Seeing an outdoor show with incredible acoustics with 17,500 other enthusiasts, where you can enjoy your own food and drink on a beautiful LA evening where the dusk settles into a starry night in the hills right as the concert hits its stride… elite experience. And it’s also such a high point”
