I don't know if it's a community faux pas to rec something that's involuntary and only limited to a certain percentage of people in the first place, but if you sometimes get chills or goosebumps when listening to music, you're one of roughly 50-ish percent of people who do. They say it means you have a 'special' brain, and who doesn't wanna hear that? I definitely frisson when I hear certain songs and I've even tried to hide the goosebumps when it happens because it can be weirdly embarrassing. Which is a shame because it's a great feeling - a beautiful moment of connection with the creativity of others. One song comes to mind that always gets me - "The Lost Ones" by Ted Hawkins...
I would love to know what gooses up everyone else's skin.

Right? I'm so glad it happens, and I wonder if we're the only animals it happens to?
Yes! Had to go re-listen - so good.
I hope the event itself lives up to the frisson 🙌
It's such a personal feeling - I always feel kind of exposed. I mean it's a good feeling, but do I have to share it with everyone??

I’ve had this all my life, but never knew there was a name for it! Brains are just such a mystery. All kinds of music will trigger it for me. My husband (a musician, lol) always finds it so funny. ☺️
Haha - yeah, I always get really self-conscious about it. Most of the time people aren't going to notice, but I still go out of my way to cover up my arms if it happens.
And kind of a perfect name I think.
