Friday Night Date Night

I grew up with parents who went on dates every single Friday night. Even when they didn’t have a ton of money, they always made it a priority. I assumed everyone’s parents did this, it was so normal to me. When I got married, I told my husband that we would be doing the same thing and it has been the best thing for our marriage. Getting away from the pressures of daily life and the home makes such a difference in our relationship and reminds us that we really like each other.
