Canadian hive rise!!! I am a sucker for coming-of-age dramas and this may be the best I’ve seen (at least when it comes to television). I thought it was going to be a bit more “the summer I turned pretty” in terms of script quality and overall taste level but it actually surprised me with how mature, well-written and touching it was! Yes, I shed a tear! I had butterflies in my stomacchhhhhhh and was screaming at the goddamn tv. Can I turn back the clock and have a love triangle in Muskoka? My chance at a sterling point cinematic romance is gone and now I’m entering the sex and the city phase of my life. I just need some better shoes and a toxic Wall Street man 😍😍😍

“I am boots on the ground for this show. sending texts off to friends and my sisters. call all the girls, gays and boyfriends of bisexual women. I’ve been waiting to rec on here until I’ve finished the series but I’m drawing it out for as long as possible because it’s been a fucking MINUTE since I’ve enjoyed a tv show like this, so I’m trying to take it slow and not binge it all at once. but here I”

“Bad on Paper recommended this show and it is not disappointing. Soapy teen dramas have not been my bag since Dawson’s Creek but this one takes place on a lake in Canada, has great ‘fits and interiors, and a nice balance of humor and cliff hangers. It’s just also a cozy show with multiple Laufey songs and the first show I’ve wanted to binge since Widow’s Bay!”

“the angsty teenage girl still living inside me has been lapping this shit up... it's kind of the same vibe as The Summer I Turned Pretty but more mystery & more queer... basically, hot rich people uncovering dysfunctional family secrets”
