Consider a separate hardware drawer, if you can

I LOVE having a hardware drawer. It keeps my junk drawer down to the essentials (pens, post its, scissors, tape, etc.) and then I have another drawer with a few tools, some small lightbulbs, batteries, extra padlocks and the like. This is in my laundry room (not my kitchen_ because it's not accessed quite as regularly.
