Beyond the basics like health insurance, check to see if your employer offers any other benefits you can take advantage of! I get legal coverage (so writing a will and trust was free!) and umbrella insurance through work, as well as access to discounts on products and subscriptions. I even get a discount on my phone plan.

Did you know your library card gives you free tickets to local museums? Berkeley and Oakland libraries do! It’s a dream for taking your kid to new spots, and not feeling bad after leaving after 2 hours. You didn’t pay, so no need to get your moneys worth. ⭐️

THE BEST RESOURCE IN THE WORLD FOR ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!!!!!!! books? yes. audiobooks? yes. e-books? yes. movies? yes. free events and classes? yes. genealogical databases? yes (from persona experience). the elusive third space? YES! its so important to support your local library!! they give back to the community and are priceless resources for so many people. i seriously cannot emphasize enough how amazing and important the public library is!!

Global Entry and TSA pre-check

There are quite a few credit cards with this benefit but mine is the capital one venture card. You get a $120 credit for the global entry application and it comes with TSA Pre-check. And kids are free!
