Avlea Folk Embroidery

I was served Krista West’s work by the algo, and it got me good. Her designs are gorgeous, and the return to folk styles makes the cross-stitch way more meditative (and forgiving of mistakes!) than other more ornate patterns. The patterns are inspired by many different folk traditions, but all with rich earth tones for the thread. I have so far bought four different kits from her as well as her book, and will almost certainly buy more.
