Santa Barbara Botanic Garden

Along with the beaches in SB, this is my happy place. Great to go on a whim with kids, out of town visitors and dogs. Bonus is that they have a nursery on site - I buy all of my CA native plants here and ask lots of plant rearing questions of the staff. I adore this place.
