A short read that swept me to a different place and made me have an immediate soft spot for Furlong. I love Keegan’s writing and how she is able to take you on a character’s moral journey with such tenderness and humanness.
Also loved Foster from Claire Keegan as well.

I re-read this book every Christmas Eve. It’s a perfect novella for taking a long-enough moment of contemplation on generosity and what we owe each other.

John Boyne! Start with The Heart’s Invisible Furies, it’s gorgeous 💕 And I really enjoyed Louise Kennedy’s Trespasses. I also just got Paul Murray’s Bee Sting which I’m excited to read!

I just finished The Heart’s Invisible Furies. I have never rooted so hard for so many characters and understood/accepted their flaws.
