“I came across this delightful book from another RecLeague-r. If you’re like me and can’t seem to get past the first week of The Artist’s Way, you’ve gotta check out this book. Composed of her notes as an “Accidental professor”, Lyndabarry has all of these rad and super fun creative exercises sprinkled throughout her musings, sketches, and literal homework assignments. Check it out!”

“Lynda Barry’s books Syllabus: Notes from an Accidental Professor and Making Comics have been such inspiring creativity boosters for me. I recently attended a day long Comix Lab she co-lead, and it was an absolute joy!”

“I’m teaching my first ever comics class (for ages 9-12) this fall, and these ideas are helping me infinitely with lesson plans as well as my own daily practice ❤️ I love her exercises on Instagram as a great way to follow along with current classes!”
