Ireland is the perfect spring break trip with kids

We did this when our kids were 5 and 8! Ireland is fantastic for spring break for a million reasons:

• flights are as cheap to go there as to fly to Florida or California for us (Chicago)

• English speaking, so the kids made friends at playgrounds, ordered their own food, talk to other adults, etc.

• Waterfalls, falconry, incredible hiking, ruins, castles, rocky beaches, lots of French fries, beautiful drives

• Weather was actually beautiful at the end of march! We also stayed in hotels with pools so the girls could swim in case of bad weather

We made a small loop so we didn't have to be in the car too long - Dublin, Wicklow mountains, Kilkenny. We plan to go back to head to the western coast!
