lobster boil at the wedding

we got married on my parent's farm in the midwest, and my husband is from new england. his parents flew out hundreds of lobsters, and his dad and his dad's friends boiled them up for dinner. My sister drew instructions for the midwesterners that had never disassembled a lobster before, everyone wore plastic lobster bibs.

i think the rec here is (as always) - do what is fun and meaningful to you. It probably would have cost the same for an immemorable plated chicken/beef, but instead we had a chaotic lobster feast (with Pappy's BBQ catered too IYKYK).
