Talking Points Dinner Club (TPDC) is a group that has gotten dinner monthly for 14 years. The trick for it's long lasting success is the structure:
everyone brings their talking points for discussion from the last month - victories, losses, recommendations, advice requests.
Everyone gets a turn to go through all of their talking points for group discussion and then passes the figurative mic.
always on the calendar, second Friday of the month.

What are some examples of the talking points? Weekly struggles, current events, new learnings, topics of interest?

Oh man I mean mostly it's just the stuff of our lives - a mother in law who got a face lift but failed to tell anyone she needed to be picked up from the hospital, a celebration of a work nemesis quitting, a kids IEP. It's so nice to say it all out loud and have all your friends talk through it together.
