I have been in love with this photograph for 5 years. I'm saving up to make one mine. Julie Blackmon's ability to turn the domestic into capital A art is a gift to us all. Makes me particularly nostalgic for trips to the ozarks, midwestern summers, float trips, being a kid with very little supervision. It's like I can smell this photo.
