I feel like I can actually offer something here with the clarity of hindsight—I moved six years ago and the things I miss are really cooked down to just a few. One of them is Whittier Cafe, a special place in my old neighborhood. I used to love reading a book outside and then walking the neighborhood to collect all the old houses I wanted to live in. Also, if Stowaway still exists, that place is an oasis in what is now the deep chaos of RiNo. Go have a long breakfast there and then wander over to Five Points for more old house-reveling!
