I Capture the Castle

If you love Marilynne Robinson’s Housekeeping (🙋🏻‍♀️) get thee a copy of I Capture the Castle. There’s a potent throughline between the two: eccentric, idiosyncratic domestic atmospheres ruled by deeply interesting women looking for their nook in the world. The castle itself is a character all its own! Delicious.
