buying a new CD and then ripping it to my computer like it's 2006

i've been really into buying new CDs or borrowing them from the library, and then ripping them to my computer for my digital music archive. i'm currently listening to the new Phoebe Bridgers album on my iPod but just as excited that i can pop the CD into my CD player alarm clock to listen to in the bedroom or on the CD player in the living room during baby's tummy time.

they really thought they were cookin' when they told us to ditch our CDs and put all our eggs into the streaming basket. i've been spotify-free for over two years, and i'm never going back!
