In 1981, due to a very literal interpretation of the existing rulebook, a minor-league baseball game was played for 32 full innings, before being suspended and then resumed two months later. If that makes you say "that's odd" or "how interesting" or "this low-stakes farcical situation makes all of the high-stakes farce that surrounds me feel less alienating, and I would like to feel less alone," I recommend this book. Excellent "Dad gift" for some.
