we have both an 8 & 12, the 8 is more for on-demand eggs— I’d say it fits 2-3 egg scrambles nicely.

I loved this pan, but when it lost it's non-stick-ness, I bought a green pan instead and have regretted it ever since.

They are definitely a convenience tool, paying the price of disposability. I wish my cast irons were truly non-stick!
