I was just looking for a new bookmark manager since Safari's solution is just so much worse than Chrome's. And I wasn't going back to using Google products.

Let me know what you think or find anything even better! Most of the ones I’ve been trying out have paid features but to my knowledge Raindrop is free

The one that I’ve heard most buzz about is AnyBox but you can only save 50 links total before having to move to the paid tiers and I have way more bookmarks than that. I’m importing all my bookmarks over now to see how well it works. Will give a more detailed impression in a few days.

Okay I just want to say after using it for one day it's already resolved all the issues I have with Safari bookmarks such as being able to reorganize and delete bookmarks without having to open the side bar. The tag system is great since I have bookmarks that share themes across multiple nested folders.

Yay!! I read on Reddit that someone still used the general Safari bookmark feature for websites they visited often, but had the Raindrop categories for specific links and articles they wanted to look back at later. I think that’s what I’m going to do

Yup! That's what I did too. I have just my bookmarks bar with my most visited sites plus a link to the raindrop page.

I use Raindrop (moved to using it after Pocket shut down) and I love it!
