I don’t make the spiced ghee at the end, even though I am sure it makes it even better, because I simply don’t want to fuck with that and it is essentially a “meanwhile” (sneakily phrased differently) so I don’t do it. Even without that this is a go to winter soup. Very hard to ruin! I promise!
