Track Info in the Notes Section of Contacts

I have a terrible memory so I've been using the Notes section of my Apple Contacts to keep track of important details about people as it's super easy to access and to update. I've tried other methods (e.g. using a document to track, etc.) but this is the most intuitive and easiest for me.
