I sing the praises of these shoes constantly! Perfect amount of ugly. Waterproof so great for hikes or the beach too and can be worn with or without socks.

Nice pick! I have Keens in the rotation, but hoping to find walkable and non-synthetic options, (if such a shoe exists, beyond the realm of Birks).
