using "-ai" to avoid ai searches when googling.

tired of the ai overview at the top of your google searches? ME TOO! i do not need, nor want, artificial intelligence answering my questions. i would rather take the additional 30s to peruse the top links (ideally wikipedia, usually reddit) and find the answer myself. about a year ago i saw that if you add "-ai" to the end of your google searches, it will remove the ai overview entirely. it's a little clunky at first, but now it's second nature.

funny story: for months my coworker saw me adding "-ai" to the end of my searches and thought i was really confused about how chat gpt worked.
