so i bought the #viral alex mill tote. and it rocks.

i really hate to say it (i really, really do): but sometimes a purchase WILL change your life. in this case, it's my new tote from alex mill (with a signature "Q" monogram – charming, no?!).

this doubled as a birthday and promotion gift for myself. i've had my eye on it forever and finally pulled the plug last may. it's an incredibly well-made thing. the material is heavy and (sort of?) waterproof, with both shoulder straps and handles, a key ring, and a small pocket inside.

i feel just as confident carrying this into a nice restaurant as i do schlepping it to work, taking it on the plane, or stuffing it with this month's grocery haul. i opted for the "weekday" size – large enough to stow my computer, lunch, and subway shoes, but small enough to not be cumbersome and awkward.

god it's fucking god. i love it more than anything. i hang it on a hook in my room as a piece of decor.
