I second this rec!🗣️🗣️ The slicing makes it so easy to have fresh bread on hand

Not to be too wellness influencer but I also think freezing bread before thawing and eating makes the carbs somehow easier to digest? Don’t factcheck me! I’m going with it

I have done this for years but chipped at frozen bread with a table knife to separate the frozen pieces. Parchment paper? Genius! You’ve changed my mornings. Thank you

Ok but also do this when it’s brand new fresh instead of waiting even a day! I read an article years ago (maybe americas test kitchen?) that said a thawed slice from a fresh loaf immediately frozen was neck-and-neck quality-wise compared to enjoying the day it was baked! Many years of toast eating has confirmed this theory!

It’s a skill to slice bread evenly, I’d put it this on my resume if I were you!

This is a great rec! I’ve also had good results with taking a sliced loaf, turning every other slice 180 degrees, then putting the loaf back in the bag and putting it into the freezer. The slices still stick a bit but are very hand-separate-able, unlike if you freeze it in its original configuration, which ofc results in a frozen monobrick.
