Detroit-bound next weekend. Any good exhibits/new restaurants/sites worth checking out this time of year (kid-friendly or maybe for us parents to check out sans-kid)? We visit the area somewhat regularly so familiar with the usual highlights.

Detroit Fun: Zoo Boo at the Detroit Zoo for the kids!! 🎃

Sans kids — Selden Standard is always one of my favorite dinner recs, and Le Suprême at Book Tower is beautiful and feels like a whole night out. For drinks and views, the new Pine Hall at Hudson’s is definitely worth checking out, or The Monarch Club for cocktails and some of the best rooftop views of the city. I’d also wander Corktown/Michigan Central if you haven’t been recently. That whole area has changed SO much!

Baobab Fare in Detroit: East African food. Best meals of the trip and a top meal of life. I don’t say this lightly.
