La Sobra del Viento: Long but never feels that way. Easy to break up based on years passing.

Laura no está (Spanish Novels for Pre Intermediates - A2): Not sure how young you are thinking, but when I had a Spanish tutor we read these books (part of a series). The chapters are short and beginner friendly.
