food: masterpiece (dinner), gigi’s (dinner), last dance (dinner), alon’s (breakfast/lunch sandwiches and pastries), daily chew (lunch), from the well (breakfast/lunch), kinship (breakfast/lunch), Lloyd’s (pizza + happy cocktails + late night slices), stereo (cocktails/vibes), so fox (dinner), dad’s (cocktails but their bar food hits too), fishmonger (dinner), boccaluppo (dinner), little bear (dinner), commune (wine), poor hendrix (dinner), el tesoro (lunch/dinner), sidetracked (wine bar), three parks (wine bar), village burger (lunch)

nature: ferbank nature center, cator woolford gardens, dunwoody nature center, east palisades trail

shopping: ecologie (kennesaw), anywhere in Little Five Points, antique and secondhand shops in Chamblee and also a cute little curated gift shop Wanderco

live jazz/vinyl dj: commune, stereo, ranger station, blind willie’s, burle’s, callanwolde, la cueva

film (screenings in original format): TARA, Plaza Theatre, Emory Cinematheque, Landmark Midtown, videodrome (not a theater but where you can rent DVDs - the nostalgia of Blockbuster but waaaaay cooler and seriously curated and archived by genre)
