Koyaanisqatsi

is director Godfrey Reggio's 1982 non-narrative documentary with a phenomenal score by Philip Glass. It takes us from pre-historic cave drawings through car manufacturing assembly lines in the late 70s/early 80s. "Koyaanisqatsi" translates roughly to "a life out of balance." It's interesting to watch with 2026 eyes.
